Today is April 14th, which in a normal Tax Season would be our last day of a full schedule of busy appointments, however this Tax Season is not normal.
The Tax Filing Deadline Extended to May 1st for All Alabama Residents
As a reminder, our Office Hours will revert to Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You’ve tolerated my discussions and updates about the new parking lot all year and as the season comes to an end, I still cannot make my long promised final post about the project. This is because I am still waiting on the decorative wrought iron to be delivered and installed.
FastLane MetalWorx advised me that the wrought iron was being sent to be powder-coated last Tuesday. So hopefully we are in the final stages of the final segment of the project.
Telephone Traffic this Week – 1,170 Calls
In a normal Tax Season, I would be making my blog post while having my morning coffee on Sunday, however, as I said earlier, “this is no normal Tax Season.” Myself and two other staff members contracted Covid in March. Two others had really bad cases of the Flu. We installed a new Point-Of-Sale (POS) system this year that created some time-consuming extra workload.
