Appointments, Filing Extensions and Other Last Minute Items

As we approach the April 15th tax filing deadline I want to share a few things with you. First I want to thank anyone and everyone for their patience with me and the staff if you experienced a wait time in our lobby. The snow and ice in February and March wreaked havoc on our schedule for weeks to follow.

We are making appointments for Wednesday April 15th!

This is a departure from our normal procedures and was necessitated by the weather in February and March when we lost three and one half days to snow and ice. We fell behind by 140 appointments (40 per day times 3.5). We are almost caught up and expect to be fully caught up by the deadline.

If you have not yet scheduled an appointment, go online here to schedule or call us at (256) 586-4111. If you are unable to meet the deadline, call us and we will file an automatic 6 month extension for you. Then you can schedule your appointment at your earliest convenience.
