Using Our Client Portal is So Easy

You may use a home computer, tablet or phone to upload or download documents. Exchanging documents this way is actually more secure than mailing paper! This season has seen an exponential increase in portal activity. I am so pleased and cannot wait to see the additional increase in the coming year.

Actually, we have been working remotely with about ten-percent to twenty-percent of our clients for many years. In the days before we had our secure portal, people actually mailed paper documents to us! Oh, how things have changed.

Here is a brief synopsis of our Ten-Step Process, when remotely filing your taxes:

  • Client Uploads a photo, pdf file, spreadsheet or other document to our secure portal.
  • Front Office and Back Office Personnel are notified
  • File is pulled, Control Card (work order) is attached
  • Work is assigned to the appropriate Agent, who will let the client know that work has begun
  • After entering all of the data provided by client, Agent will compare with prior year
  • Once everyone agrees that we have all required information, a Draft Copy is provided for review
  • After the Agent and Client have reviewed the draft, Efile Authorization Signature Forms will be sent
  • After the Client has electronically signed the authorization, we conduct a final review and file the returns
  • Once we receive Acknoledgement of Acceptance, we print the client’s copies of the returns and upload to portal
  • Client is billed for the work through the portal and can pay by credit or debit card or other options.
