Net Neutrality

“Net Neutrality” means that all data on the internet is treated equally. An Internet Service Provider (ISP) cannot prioritize certain companies, websites, apps or content. In addition, it means the ISP cannot sell preferential access to businesses.

One of the good things President Obama did, was push for “Net Neutrality.” Now, the republicans under President Trump are about to undo that. It is bad and it is wrong!

As a small business owner (10 employees) since 1994, I support Net Neutrality. Internet service more appropriately belongs under the purview of the FCC and not the FTC. In addition, this should not be a “partisan issue.” To allow carriers, which are also content providers to manipulate this medium would be a travesty. Regulation of the internet should be based solely on what is good for “we the people” and not big corporations with their lobbyists. Please do not do this. It is un-American.
