State Audit

The last thing a business owner needs, is a state auditor setting up office at the business.

"The business owner is not alone when it comes to having the audit at your CPA's office: the auditors are familiar with me and my staff, they know us and know what to expect (they never know what to expect when they go to a business), my entire staff will treat them with respect and try to make them comfortable while they're here."

I've heard stories from taxpayers where they would put an auditor in a small back room with no air conditioning while it's 90 degrees outside. This kind of approach doesn't help your cause.

How we handle a state audit:

  • STEP 1 - You bring your records to our office and sign a POA
  • STEP 2 - we review, organize your records and set up a work space for the auditor
  • STEP 3 - we schedule the audit at our office while you go on with life uninterrupted.
