{"id":4530,"date":"2023-04-12T10:44:48","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T15:44:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cookco.us\/news\/?p=4530"},"modified":"2023-08-11T09:38:25","modified_gmt":"2023-08-11T14:38:25","slug":"accessing-your-tax-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cookco.us\/news\/accessing-your-tax-return\/","title":{"rendered":"Accessing Your Tax Return"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PORTAL<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accessing Your Tax Return and Paying Your Invoice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New User:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>After giving us, your email and we set you up in our system, you will receive an email from us with access to the portal and a temporary password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/cookco.us\/\">Cook &amp; Co. Tax Advisors (cookco.us)<\/a> , click \u201cportal\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type in the email we have on file for you for \u201cEmail\u201d and that temporary password in the \u201cPassword\u201d section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you are logged in click \u201cSettings\u201d in the top right then \u201cMy Preferences\u201d, and click this update password button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change your password to whatever you like but it must be 8 characters long, contain 1 #, and 1 upper case letter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To see your 2022 Tax Return: You will see a small vanilla folder icon like this&gt; <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"47\" height=\"50\" src=\"\" alt=\"Image result for small folder icon\"><strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click the folder and it will drop down where you will see your tax return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To pay invoice: Click \u201cInvoices\u201d tab, then \u201cmake payment\u201d on your selected invoice. Type in your card information then \u201csave\u201d. Now check the little box beside your card info and \u201cnext\u201d. Finally, you will select \u201cpay\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Returning User:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/cookco.us\/\">Cook &amp; Co.
